This notice explains how the Management Students’ Union, University of Peradeniya handles personal data on the Pahasarani 2026 website.
What we collect
- Partner enquiries. If you use the partnership form, we collect your name, company, email, phone number, tier of interest and message so we can reply.
- Analytics. When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand how the site is used and to measure campaign performance. These tools may set cookies and collect device, browser and interaction data.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and request time for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond to you and to discuss a possible partnership. We use analytics to improve the site and the campaign. We do not sell personal data.
Who processes it
The site is hosted on a static hosting provider. Analytics, when enabled, is processed by Google and Meta. Partner enquiries may be processed by our email or form provider so the message can reach the organising team. Ticket purchases happen on TicketsMinistry, which has its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The core site does not need cookies to work. Analytics cookies are only set when the relevant analytics tools are enabled. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Retention and your choices
We keep partner enquiries only as long as needed for the conversation and the event cycle. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data you sent us by emailing pahasarani.msu.pdn@gmail.com.
